Nourish yourself from the inside-out with high vibrational raw and superfoods, inspiring yoga sessions and meditation in nature on a daily basis for mental clarity, energy and beauty.
Afternoons include workshops on food preparations, optional therapy sessions, walks, outings or other creative activities. Evenings can include mantra singing, discussions, inspirational films and documentaries.
Each day the yoga and meditation is dedicated to one of the seven chakras, starting with the base. We also offer possibilities for excursions to the beach, mountains, herb-walks and Buddhist monastery.

The YogaYou will be gently taken into a deepening practice of yoga postures, meditation and pranayama. It does not matter if you are a beginner or advanced student, there is enough personal attention as we keep our groups small.
Everyone can get deeper into awareness of their body, breathing and being. Even if you have never done any yoga before, this is a great opportunity to get into a non-demanding practice at your own pace.
The morning classes will be more dynamic Yang style yoga while we end the day with a more calming Yin-Yoga practice. Tara will be guiding most of the yoga sessions and sometimes there will be guest teachers.
Each day will be dedicated to one of the chakras so we can go deep into the transformational quality of each of them. We will develop the skills to work with the 7 energy gateways for greater healing, vitality and pleasure.

Breakfast can be anything from almond milk with granola, banana pancakes to crackers with avocado and cashew cheese with a smoothie prepared with Superfoods.
Dinner times are always a joy for the senses, there’s always something fascinating to taste – and If you can't eat or like certain things – no worries – we are happy to accommodate any of your food preferences. All food is gluten, sugar, and lactose-free at our retreats – only delicious homemade raw food, using the freshest and organically grown ingredients.
Exotic fruits, like mangoes, papayas, figs, etc. can be taken throughout the day.
We’ll create lots of delicious meals together including soup, sushi, lasagna, and desserts and we’ll then get to eat what we’ve created (yes, detailed recipes will be provided for you to take home).

Your taste buds will be delighted by Tikka Masala with Onion Badjis, Mushroom Stroganoff, Thai creamy curry with tempeh vegetables, and mouthwatering leek quiches just to name a few dishes you will try on the retreat.
We will be staying 10 days together in a lovely retreat centre, set in lush exotic gardens with a big beautiful swimming pool.
All around you is beauty, complete with ancient olive, orange, and fig trees laden with fruits ready to pick. Here you can relax and recharge your whole being while you slip back into the natural rhythms of nature.
Situated in the gardens there are some cottages with each their own terrace, looking out on ancient olive trees. The main house, with the kitchen and the dining room, has several single and double rooms to choose from.
Granada is nearby with its Arabic influences, invoking images of gypsies and medieval maze-like streets with the snow top mountain peaks from the Sierra Nevada in the background.

Hi I'm Tara, and I am passionate about yoga and inspiring people to take care of their well-being—mind, body, and spirit.
Yoga has been my guiding light ever since I was a little girl, living with my mother in a spiritual community in India.
My approach to wellness and healing on top of a regular yoga & meditation practice is adding more organic high vibrational raw and superfoods to our diet. That also means letting go of unhealthy lifestyle practices that don't serve us (or our spirit) anymore, and releasing stress. I embrace my vibrant life and wish the same for everyone.
After 15 years of teaching yoga on other retreats, I gave birth to SunfoodYoga in 2006. Here you can enjoy the powerful blend of raw cuisine combined with the finest yoga & meditation experiences in a beautiful natural surrounding.
After you get home, you’ll be invited to a private Facebook group where you can keep in touch with your new made friends, swap stories, and keep everyone in the loop with your triumphs & challenges.
You’ll also have an additional 20-minute session with Tara in the months following, so we can make sure you’re still on track with everything you have learned.
